Lorch Design is an international design studio for strategic product design. Using methods like trend research, data analysis and design thinking, I identify existing potentials of a company and develop product ideas that are culturally valuable and commercially successful. The “right” product helps companies achieve sustainable growth, continuous visibility and internal stability. My spectrum of services ranges from intelligent furniture, lighting and product solutions to digital applications, spaces and strategic consulting. Depending on the project requirements, I put together teams of experts from my network, which consists of programmers, architects, photographers and manufacturing facilities. Lorch Design was founded in 2007 in Berlin and received various awards. The works are published regularly in the press and are represented at international exhibitions. Daniel Lorch is co-founder and art director of the product brand L&Z.

DiscoverThe start of a project is a period of discovery, gathering inspiration and insights, identifying user needs and developing initial ideas.
DefineThe second quarter represents the definition phase, in which we try to make sense of all the possibilities identified in the Discover phase.
DevelopThe third quarter marks a period of development where solutions are created, prototyped, tested and iterated. This process of trial and error helps us to improve and refine ideas.
DeliverThe final quarter of the model is the deliver phase, where the product or service is finalised and launched. The key activities and objectives during this stage are: final testing, approval and launch, evaluation and feedback loops.
